Acceptance of Sale
By placing an order with QCC on this web site we accept that you have read and agree to the following terms and conditions.
Method of Payment

QCC accepts Visa, Mastercard, Bankcard, and American Express. Please note a 4% surcharge applies to all American Express transactions.

QCC accepts confirmed direct deposit into QCC’s nominated bank account

Silverchef Rent Try Buy

All equipment remains the property of QCC (QLD) Pty Ltd until payment has been received in full and monies have been cleared. No order will be despatched until QCC is satisfied with the integrity of the order.

Verification that you are the credit card holder will be required before goods are shipped.

If you have a current 30 day trading account with QCC (QLD) Pty Ltd you are able to use this account. All 30 day account purchases from this site are to be treated as a strict 7 day account.
Delivery

Freight and delivery costs are not included in the prices listed on this web site. Once you have placed your order, one of our customer services team will contact you regarding the delivery costs. You do have the option of collecting your order from QCC’s East Brisbane warehouse and showroom. We will give assistance with loading if you collect the goods.

Any freight or delivery cost will only be calculated to a ground floor kerbside or loading dock delivery point where it is the purchaser’s responsibility to arrange the labour and or machinery necessary to unload. Positioning equipment, unpacking equipment or disposing of packing materials is not included in the freight or delivery costs.

There are some occasions where the delivery of your purchase will be free to your door. We will contact you if this is the case when you place your order.

QCC are not common carriers and insurance is not included in the freight or delivery costs unless specifically requested by the purchaser. The insurance will then be at the purchasers expense.

All care is taken but no responsibility is accepted for any damage incurred.

Insurance

Insurance for goods in transit is not included in the purchase price. If insurance is required please contact customer service and ask for a quotation.
Stock Availability

Whilst we make best attempts in keeping items in stock, there will sometimes be lead times as imposed by QCC’s suppliers. Some equipment is made to order, gas types vary from area to area and sometimes huge demand make us just run out of stock. Rest assured that we will contact you when you place your order, so all these points can be addressed when we call to thank you for your order.

Waiting time for different lines can vary from days to weeks. Because QCC has such a large range with multiple brands, we will be able to satisfy your order one way or another.

If you selected Silverchef as your nominated method of payment, availability cannot be confirmed until we have approval from Silverchef.
Warranty
QCC enacts manufacturer’s warranties on all products listed for sale on this site. The warranties vary from manufacturer to manufacturer and are reasonable listed in the details for each item. None of the warranties cover loss of product or profit and are strictly limited to the repair or replacement of the item concerned. Certain conditions are to be met, such as completion and return of warranty registration cards, normal cleaning and maintenance, proper use and application and general care. Some warranties are on site, some insist on the item being returned to base (the service centre or QCC). Some warranties are parts and labour, some parts only. Please ensure you ask our customer services team for your specific warranty details upon purchase. Your warranty will be void if you do not use the authorised repairer as nominated by the manufacturer. No warranty claim will be recognised without prior approval.
Damaged Goods
If you received suspected damaged goods from QCC or our carrier, please notify us immediately. If the item has been shipped to interstate it is advisable to check the goods in the presence of the delivery driver and sign the consignment note “received damaged”. Unless insurance has been requested prior to shipping, no claim can be made. QCC are not common carriers.
Placing an Order
1. You will need to complete all fields in the required manner 2. This includes your billing address, your delivery address, e-mail address, contact phone and fax numbers delivery instructions and payment details. 3. It is an offence to use a fraudulently obtained credit card or to place orders using a false name and address. Suspected fraudulent orders will be reported immediately to the Police. 4. You will be contacted by a customer service team member when you place your order. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Order Cancellations
1. Mistakes happen and if the order has not been despatched from either QCC to the purchaser or from QCC’s supplier to QCC, then no charges will apply. 2. If the order has been despatched and acted upon charges apply and will be advised on a case by case basis. 3. If the goods are being specifically modified or custom made or a special order, significant cancellation charges will be applied.
Return of Goods
1. All goods that are returned are done so with the written consent of QCC (QLD) Pty Ltd. and not otherwise 2. Credits are not issued for change of mind issues 3. All returned goods must be in the original packing, unused, with all original paperwork intact with approval from QCC 4. Freight and delivery costs associated with returned goods will be at the expense of the purchaser and not QCC. 5. Refunds are dealt with on a case by case basis.
